Asma and Aisha were two sisters, very cute and very intelligent. They loved each other more than any one. Their lives were very comfortable. Asma liked going out by the lovely maroon car that her mother had bought recently and have ice cream every weekend. Aisha called this outing as family ice cream trip. The two sisters were very happy with their parents. The only one thing that they didn't like were monthly visit to the slum areas and that too by public transport. Some times her mother tried to convey this to her father but her father being a tough academician never liked hearing any thing against his will. One day the intelligent mother decided to do something. And she persuaded Asma and Aisha to convey their displeasure to their father.
Aisha was still three years old, when her parents decided to let the two sisters know the world outside their comfort zone. So the parents decided to take them to the houses of poor people to show them the condition of those children who are not as fortunate as the two sisters were. Their parents were not able to afford good English schools for them and could not take them for family ice cream trip. Asma were very happy to go to these places. Aisha too loved playing with them. But soon they started disliking the slum areas. They started comparing their status with them. They wanted to talk to them in English and discuss the next events of their schools. The parents found that the children were going to a wrong direction. The mother who was very emotional for her children asked the father to stop this experiment/ challenge/ . But the father being a stubborn person didn't listen to his wife. Now children's displeasure could be seen on their faces every time they have to visit the slum area. So the mother decided to convey the father by using some trick. The trick was nothing but Asma and Aisha. This month when they were visiting the slum area there were no sign of displeasure on the face of both of the sisters. The father was very surprised by this. But rather than giving any credit to the mother he proudly said to the wife, see Asma and Aisha are so nice and obedient, they like going to these places. The mother could not say anything as she was afraid that what would happen in the next month when the children will ask her to fulfill her promise. The happy father didn't even think of reading her face.
On the way back, Asma asked the father, "Papa, why do we need to go to see these people? " The father replied, "because they are also human being like us and Allah had asked us to take care of such people, too." Aisha interrupted, " yes papa, Ahma does not understand. They also have two hands, two eyes, two legs like we have." Father proudly said, "very true beta" "but" , Aisha continued, " they don't have car like us, they could not go to good school like us. " " and also they are not very clean, don't go for ice cream trip!!" Asma added. "Hmm" Aisha nodded, blinking her eyes. And both of the sisters said together, "No Papa they are not like us..". The father looked at the mother who was listening to the conversation very carefully as if she was going to give a lecture to her students, in next class. Silence continued... Suddenly, Asma asked, " do you still think papa that they are like us and we should continue going to see them. " The father said, "of course beta, we must continue going to see them. Allah created every one equal ". " If so then why they are poor" Aisha helped her sister. Because Allah wanted to take their exam, the father replied. "How and why He decided not to take our exam? ", both of the sisters enquired. The father tried to explain "He is taking our exam, too. By giving us car, good school and helping us to have an ice cream trip". He continued, " Allah wants to know that whether we are taking care of his other servants who are deprived of such facilities or not. At the same time He wants to check that whether the poor people are not committing sins, like snatching, stealing and such. " "Just like ..." , the mother opened her mouth for the first time, "... Aisha is given lots of toffies and Asma is not. And Mamma Papa watch both of you. We see whether Aisha is doing good by sharing it with Asma and Asma is not doing bad action, like, snatching or stealing toffies from Aisha. When we see both of you are doing good we give you your favorite gifts. Allah will also give both poor and not so poor people their favorite things after finding them on the right path. " Both of the sisters understood and they said to their mother, "Mamma we will come next month too." The father could not understand this specific word but he was very happy. And said, " Allah created every one equal" . " Indeed!!! ", the children and mother supported.
